VISA, cashless option
Options can now implement the VISA system which can be programmed to fit in your re-valuation terminal taking both Switch and all major credit cards to program credit onto your internal card system.
Vending VISA
With all major developments within the industry, Options Management can now fit a combined coin, note and VISA system which can be sited anywhere within the UK and can be either linked by hardwire or GSM mobile for those public sited machines where higher priced vends can be achieved. Any product of 70p and above can be made profitable and fitted on all leading vending machines.
Fingerprint Recognition Systems (Biometric)
Options guarantee that our preferred suppliers are at the forefront of new technology in the provision of leading biometric cashless systems in the UK. They offer all the features of a card system, along with many additional benefits. Ease of use, a simplified registration process and cutting edge technology, all combine to provide customers with a multifunctional, secure and cost effective solution for school catering.
The biometric system will run alongside or as an alternative to the card system. In effect it reduces the emphasis on pupils having to remember to swipe their card or pin numbers whilst alleviating chances of identity fraud or theft. Caterers will enjoy faster speed of service and administration.
Registration of fingerprints is quick and easy. Our software turns the fingerprint image in to an alpha numeric code before discarding the fingerprint. No image is retained on the system and the code cannot be reinterpreted back into a fingerprint.

Pupil’s accounts can be credited by a parent with cash, cheque or online directly to the school or via the pupil at a remote wall mounted unit. Parents paying direct to the school encure that money is spent in the school and not elsewhere.
Removes the opportunity for bullying and improves student welfare.
As the account holds no monetary value and the pupil has no need to carry cash, the opportunity for bullying is reduced.
Removes stigma associated with ‘free school meals’.
Free school meal allowances are entered into a pupil’s account no different from others. They are then automatically allocated by the system on a daily basis, removing the need to issue vouchers or token and supervise their use. Unused meal allowance is removed daily and does not accumulate as a balance on the pupil’s account.
